Dee Carpenter is an award-winning self-taught artist. Since I began to paint in 2005, my passion for wildlife has grown. My world is about wildlife, bird life in particular. It is so interesting learning about behavior and relationships in nature. Especially mothers & children. My paintings & photographs capture a tiny moment in the life of each subject. It's a privilege to be given that opportunity. I've been a realistic painter since the beginning. I have tried to "loosen up" in order to become more impressionistic.
